Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe | Easy & Delicious

 
INGREDIENTS

8 tablespoons margarine, softened 1‑1/2 cups packed light brown sugar 2 egg whites 1 teaspoon vanilla 2‑1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1‑1/2 teaspoons baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/3 cup fat-free (skim) milk 3/4 cup (4 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

PREPARATION:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray cookie sheets with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Beat margarine and brown sugar in large bowl until fluffy. Beat in egg whites and vanilla.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. Add flour mixture to margarine mixture alternately with milk, ending with flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans, if desired.
  4. Drop dough by slightly rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake about 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on wire racks.
