Giant Chocolate Chip Raisin Cookies: Easy Recipe

 
INGREDIENTS

1 cup butter, softened 1 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup granulated sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1‑1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips 3/4 cup raisins 3/4 cup chopped walnuts

PREPARATION:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or lightly grease and dust with flour.
  2. Beat butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar in large bowl. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until light. Combine flour, cocoa and baking soda in small bowl. Add to butter mixture with chocolate chips, raisins and walnuts; stir until well blended.
  3. Scoop out about 1/2 cupful of dough for each cookie. Place on prepared cookie sheets, spacing about 5 inches apart. Using knife dipped in water, smooth balls of dough out to about 3-1/2 inches in diameter. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden. Remove to wire racks to cool.
