Easy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

 
INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened 1/3 cup peanut butter 1/3 cup granulated sugar 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla 1‑1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 package (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chunks or 4 semisweet chocolate bars (3 ounces each), cut into squares 1 cup pecan halves, cut into pieces

PREPARATION:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease two cookie sheets or line with parchment paper. Beat butter, peanut butter, sugars, egg and vanilla in large bowl until light and fluffy. Blend in combined flour and baking soda. Scoop out 1/3 cupfuls of dough, forming into 12 balls. Place on prepared cookie sheets, spacing about 4 inches apart. Press each cookie to flatten slightly. Press chocolate chunks and pecan pieces into cookies, dividing equally. Bake 15 to 17 minutes or until firm in center. Remove to wire racks to cool.
