Brandon, Canada, a city in southwestern Manitoba. It is 130 miles (209 km) west of Winnipeg on the Assiniboine River. Brandon is a railway center in a grain-growing region. Industries include tanning, woolen milling, oil refining, meat-packing, and the manufacture of metal products and farm implements. Brandon University is here.
