Engadine
Engadine, a valley of the upper Inn River in Graubünden (Grisons) canton, Switzerland. It extends 60 miles (97 km) northeast from Maloja Pass to the Austrian border. The valley is in the Rhaetian Alps and is divided into the Upper Engadine (southwest) and Lower Engadine (northeast). The Engadine is noted for its scenery and has many health resorts and winter-sports centers, including St. Moritz. The Swiss National Park (founded 1909) is in the valley.
