The Annapurna Range

Annapurna, a Himalayan mountain massif in Nepal, about 100 miles (160 km) northwest of Kathmandu, the capital. It has four peaks, all of them permanently covered with snow. The highest, Annapurna I, is 26,504 feet (8,078 m) above sea level and was first climbed in 1950, by a French expedition.
