Nanga Parbat

Nanga Parbat, one of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. It is in northwestern Kashmir and rises 26,660 feet (8,126 m) above sea level. The summit was reached by Herman Buhl, a German climber, in 1953, shortly after the conquest of Mount Everest.
