Geography of Zibo

Zibo, or Tzupo, China, a city in Shandong province, some 250 miles (400 km) south-southeast of Beijing. Zibo is an industrial and mining center on a spur of the main rail line between Jinan and Qingdao. Nearby coalfields produce large quantities of high-grade bituminous coal. Mining of iron ore, bauxite, and kaolin (porcelain clay) is also important.
