Guan
Guan, a forest game bird of Central and South America. It resembles a small turkey, lives in treetops, and feeds mainly on fruit. Most species are dark green or gray. The wide-ranging crested guan has blue facial markings.
Guans belong to the family Cracidae. The crested guan is Penelope purpurascens.
