Bellbird, a name given to several birds that produce bell-like notes. The white bell-bird, or campanero, of South America is the most common. It repeats its single note over and over. The white bellbird has white feathers and a wattle (a growth of flesh) that hangs over its bill. Other species of bellbirds are found in Australia, New Zealand, and the Guianas.

The white bellbird is Procnias alba of the family Cotingidae.
