Snow-on-the-mountain, an annual, bushy plant native to the prairies of the midwestern United States. It is a popular garden plant, grown for its foliage. This many-branched plant grows up to four feet (1.2 m) high. The oblong leaves, up to three inches (7.5 cm) long, are green on the lower part of the plant and edged in white in the upper part. The tiny, inconspicuous flowers are white.

Snow-on-the-mountain is Euphorbia marginata of the spurge family, Euphorbiaceae.
