Oregon Grape, a hollylike evergreen shrub of the barberry family. The Oregon grape grows in protected places from British Columbia to Oregon; it is the state flower of Oregon. It is raised as an ornamental shrub. The plant grows up to 10 feet (3 m) tall. It produces dark-green, hollylike leaflets and fragrant clusters of small, yellow flowers. The fruit is an edible, small, blue berry.

The Oregon grape is Mahonia aquifolium of the barberry family, Berberidaceae.
