Some are nearly four inches (10 cm) wide. The Florida swamp lily is a North American species with a cluster of small, white flowers. The cluster is nearly two feet (60 cm) long.
The crinums belong to the family Amaryllidaceae. The Florida swamp lily is Crinum americanum.
