Candytuft
Candytuft, a hardy annual or perennial herbaceous plant of the mustard family. It is native to central Europe and the Mediterranean region. Candytuft is cultivated for its white, pink, red, or purple flowers, which grow in flat-topped or finger-shaped clusters. The plant grows to 16 inches (40 cm) in height.
Candytuft flowers grow in flat-topped clusters.Rocket candytuft bears large, fragrant white flowers that are often sold by florists. The globe, or annual, candytuft bears dense clusters of odorless pink, red, violet, or purple flowers. The edging, or perennial, candytuft is a shrublike plant with white flowers.
