PREPARATION:
- Use the handle of a wooden spoon to push a 2-inch long hole into the end of each sandwich roll. Don't push all the way through the roll.
- Slice each frankfurter in half, then cut a notch in the uncut end for a "nail bed." Boil, steam or microwave frankfurters according to package directions.
- Spoon a little ketchup into the hole of each roll. Push a piece of frankfurter into each hole, with the notched end sticking out.
- Cut 8 thin slices of radish and trim them into wedges. Place a radish wedge on the notched end of each frankfurter to make fingernails. Serve with additional ketchup for dipping.
