2 eggs 3 tablespoons water 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, cut up and softened 1 teaspoon salt 2‑1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar or Swiss cheese 1 teaspoon sugar 2 teaspoons active dry yeast

  1. Measuring carefully, place all ingredients in bread machine pan in order specified by owner's manual.
  2. Program basic or white cycle and desired crust setting; press start. (Do not use delay cycle.) Remove baked bread from pan; cool on wire rack.
