INGREDIENTS
1 pound spicy Italian sausage, cut into pieces 1/2 onion, chopped 2 cups frozen O'Brien hash brown potatoes with onions and peppers 1 can (15 ounces) pinto beans, undrained 3/4 cup water 1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules or 1 beef bouillon cube 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepperPREPARATION:
- Combine sausage and onion in large nonstick skillet; cook and stir over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes or until meat is cooked through. Drain fat.
- Stir in potatoes, beans, water, bouillon, oregano and red pepper; reduce heat to medium. Cover; simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
