Royal Military College of Canada
Royal Military College of Canada (RMC), Kingston, Ontario, a four-year, degree-granting institution of higher learning that trains young men and women for commissions in the Canadian Armed Forces. It was opened in 1876 and is maintained by the Canadian government. The school is one of two Canadian military colleges. The other is the Collge militaire royal de Saint-Jean (1952), in Saint-Jean, Quebec. Students may begin their studies at either college.
