Peregrine White

White, Peregrine (1620–1704), the first child born in New England of English parents, William and Susanna White. He was born on board the Mayflower, at anchor off Cape Cod. His father died shortly after, and in 1621 his mother married Edward Winslow. White spent most of his life in Marshfield, Massachusetts.
