Paul

Paul (1901–1964), king of Greece. He became king in 1947, succeeding his brother, George II. Paul was born in Athens, the third son of King Constantine I. He graduated from the Greek Naval Academy in 1922. Paul lived in England and Italy while Greece was a republic, 1924–35, and was again in exile during Germany's World War II occupation of Greece.
