Flathead Lake

Flathead Lake, the largest natural lake in Montana. It lies in northwestern Montana, between Kalispell and Polson. The lake is 28 miles (45 km) long and up to 15 miles (24 km) wide. It was formed as a prehistoric glacier melted. Flathead River runs south through the lake.
