Geography of Killarney
Killarney, Republic of Ireland, a resort and market town in County Kerry. It is about 50 miles (80 km) west and slightly north of Cork. The Lakes of Killarney, a series of three connected bodies of water, are nearby. They are surrounded by the mountains of Kerry, noted for their beauty. Thousands of visitors come every summer to tour the lakes and ancient ruins in this area.
