Youngberry, a trailing shrub. It is named for B. M. Young, a Louisiana fruit grower, who developed it by crossing a loganberry with a dewberry. The youngberry bears large, edible reddish-black fruit. It is grown commercially in the western and southwestern United States.

The youngberry is a cultivar of Rubus ursinus of the rose family, Rosaceae.
