Lacebark Tree
Lacebark Tree, a West Indian tree that grows to be 30 feet (9 m) tall and bears beautiful white flowers. The inner bark of the tree can be removed in sheets, which can then be stretched to form a lacy material with fivesided meshes. The lacy material is used in dresses and for other ornamental purposes. It is also made into rope.
The lacebark tree is Lagetta lintearia of the family Thymelaceae.
