Classic Fresh Salsa Recipe - Simple & Flavorful

 

YIELD Makes 1 cup

INGREDIENTS

3 medium plum tomatoes, seeded and chopped 2 tablespoons chopped onion 1 small jalapeño pepper,* seeded and minced 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro 1 tablespoon lime juice 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon black pepper *Jalapeño peppers can sting and irritate the skin, so wear rubber gloves when handling peppers and do not touch your eyes.

PREPARATION:

  1. Stir together all ingredients. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
