Spicy Ground Beef Burrito Burgers - Easy Recipe

 
INGREDIENTS

6 tablespoons mild salsa, divided 1 can (4 ounces) diced green chilies, divided 1/4 cup sour cream Dash hot pepper sauce 1 pound ground beef 4 (6-inch) flour tortillas 1 cup shredded lettuce 1/2 cup (2 ounces) taco-flavored shredded Cheddar cheese

PREPARATION:

  1. Combine 2 tablespoons salsa, 2 tablespoons chilies, sour cream and hot pepper sauce in small bowl; set aside.
  2. Combine beef, remaining 4 tablespoons salsa and remaining chilies in large bowl; mix well. Shape into four 4-inch oval patties.
  3. Grill burgers over medium coals 8 to 10 minutes for medium or until desired doneness is reached, turning halfway through grilling time.
  4. Place 1 burger in center of 1 tortilla. Top with one-quarter of the lettuce, cheese and sour cream mixture. Bring edges of tortilla together over top of burger; secure with toothpick if necessary. Remove toothpick before serving.
