Simply delicious combination of egg noodles, fresh Italian sausage and a spicy tomato-pesto sauce
INGREDIENTS
1 can (28 oz ea) Hunt's® Diced Tomatoes with Basil, Garlic & Oregano, undrained 1 Pound dry egg noodles, uncooked 3/4 Cup prepared basil pesto (3/4 cup = about 7 oz) 1 Pound Italian pork sausage links, casings removedPREPARATION:
- Cook noodles according to package directions.
- Brown sausage in large skillet over medium heat while noodles are cooking, stirring occasionally to crumble sausage. Stir in tomatoes with their liquid and the pesto; cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- Drain noodles; place in large bowl. Add sausage mixture; toss to evenly coat pasta.
