Four Freedoms
Four Freedoms, the name given to the general world aims of the United States, as described by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in an address to Congress on January 6, 1941. The freedoms he cited are freedom of speech and expression, freedom of worship, freedom from want, and freedom from fear.
