Dodona, a town of ancient Greece noted for a temple sacred to the god Zeus. The site is near the modern city of Ioánnina in northwestern Greece. Priests interpreted the will of Zeus for people who came seeking answers to questions. This shrine was less famous than that at Delphi. Excavation at Dodona in the 19th century revealed the temple.
