The Paranaiba River

Paranaíba River, a river in eastern South America. Its source is in east-central Brazil, and it flows west and southwest for about 500 miles (800 km), uniting with the Grande in southern Brazil to form the Paraná River. Because of waterfalls, it is not navigable.
