Geography of Corner Brook
Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada, a city on Humber River near the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Corner Brook is on the Canadian National Railway and is the chief distribution point in western Newfoundland. Newsprint is produced here in one of the largest pulp and paper mills in the world. Fishing and fish processing are also important. Nearby is Gros Morne National Park. Corner Brook was incorporated in 1956, uniting several older towns.
