1949-1950 Frazer Manhattan
The 1949-1950 Frazer Manhattan was the last Frazer authorized by Joseph W. Frazer before he was replaced as K-F president by Edgar Kaiser. The 1949-1950 Frazer Manhattan convertibles required a heavily reinforced X-braced frame to provide torsional stiffness for the roofless body, which was virtually handbuilt from the sedan shell. This wasn't a true ragtop in the sense that the window frames and the little B-pillar window didn't retract.
