1941, 1942 Chevrolet Fleetline
The 1941 Chevrolet Fleetline was introduced midway through the 1941 season as an upscale four-door sedan whose blind quarter panels and bustleback contour, together with a bold new grille, gave it a striking resemblance to the Buick Super.
The 1941 Chevrolet Fleetline was catalogued as a one-model Special Deluxe sub-series. Priced only $26 higher than the Special DeLuxe Sport Sedan, the 1941 Chevrolet Fleetline offered distinctive styling at nominal extra cost.Chevrolet Image Gallery

The same body was employed for some of the smaller Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles, and Buicks; but the Chevrolet version, the least expensive of the lot, was as handsome as any of them.
The 1942 Chevrolet Fleetline added a memorable two-door coupe body style called the Aerosedan. This allowed Chevy to match the 1941 line of sensational two-door fastbacks from Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Buick, and Cadillac.
Priced at $880, just $35 higher than the Special DeLuxe five-passenger coupe, the 1942 Chevrolet Fleetline Aerosedan proved to be Chevy's best-seller for 1942.
Chevy was a year behind the other GM divisions
in getting a two-door fastback.
