1938-1940 Cadillac Series 90 Sixteen
The 1938-1940 Cadillac Series 90 Sixteen and overall Sixteen production was never more than a few hundred per year after 1933. Both the V-12 and original V-16 engines were dropped after 1937, but Cadillac offered a new L-head V-16 for three more model years.Cadillac Cars Image Gallery

Cadillac found it uneconomical to continue this Sixteen past 1940, even though it shared its wheelbase and many body styles with the Series Seventy-Five. Few open models were built, most being Imperial and formal sedans.
