1949 NASCAR Strictly Stock Results

The 1949 NASCAR Strictly Stock season was the brainstorm of NASCAR founder Bill France, who wanted to have a race filled with new, postwar automobiles. After the popularity of the first Strictly Stock race at Charlotte Speedway, France planned seven more races for the season. race at Atlanta's Lakewood Speedway.
