Wahoo, also called Peto, or Queenfish, a food and game fish related to the mackerel. It may reach six feet (1.8 m) in length and weigh more than 100 pounds (45 kg). The wahoo is pale silver below and dark green above, sometimes with vertical stripes of gray or yellow. It is found in tropical and subtropical ocean waters, including those off the coasts of Florida, Texas, and Lower California.
