Scorpius
Scorpius, a constellation in the Southern Hemisphere and the eighth sign of the zodiac. (The sign of the zodiac is known as Scorpio.) From the mid-north latitudes the constellation can be seen in the south during summer. The bright, reddish star Antares is the brightest star in Scorpius.
