Wild Pink
Wild Pink, a small perennial wildflower that blossoms from April to June in the eastern part of North America. The flower, white or rose, unfolds to one inch across and grows on a 10-inch (25-cm) stem. The plant is a member of a large family that grows throughout the world.
The wild pink is Silene caroliniana. It belongs to the pink family, Caryophyllaceae.
