Jerusalem Cherry
Jerusalem Cherry, an ornamental shrub. The true Jerusalem cherry of the Old World grows two to four feet (60 to 120 cm) high. It bears wavy-edged, oblong leaves; white flowers; and scarlet or yellow cherrylike fruit. The false Jerusalem cherry of Brazil is about two feet (60 cm) high.
The true Jerusalem cherry is Solanum pseudocapsicum; false, S. capsicastrum. Both belong to the nightshade family, Solanaceae.
