Everlasting
Everlasting, or Immortelle, any of several kinds of flowers that keep their color and shape when they dry. They are used in winter bouquets. Most kinds, including the pearly everlasting (Anaphalis margaritacea) and the clammy everlasting (Gnaphalium macounii), are members of the Composite family. Some everlastings, such as prince's feather, love-lies-bleeding, and Joseph's coat, are amaranths.
