Packing for a destination wedding isn't easy, and you don't want to forget something that might be important. You've got enough things to worry about -- your cosmetic bag shouldn't be one of them. We've done the research for you and made a list of the most essential beauty products that should, no doubt, go into your bag before anything else.

5: Face Wash
For a glowing and blemish-free complexion on your wedding day, it's important to take care of your skin. With all of the things your face encounters, such as air pollutants and sun damage, it takes quite a beating! Wash off germs and pore-clogging makeup nightly, but be sure to use products that won't strip the moisture from your epidermis. The last thing you want is to wake up on a faraway beach the morning of your wedding with dry, flakey skin or a face full of acne. Try Cetaphil face wash if you have sensitive skin or Philosophy's Purity Made Simple for a hydrating wash made of essential oils.
4: Moisturizer
Having a destination wedding often means lots of traveling via airplanes. The humidity in an airplane cabin is generally much lower than the normal outside air, which can take a huge toll on the hydration of your body, especially your skin. Hydrated skin starts from the inside, so drink lots of water before you board the plane and continue doing so in-flight. Avoid dehydrating liquids like soda, coffee and alcoholic drinks. Keep a good moisturizer handy and apply it to your face and neck when your skin starts feeling flaky or tight. Of course, you want to be hydrated for more than just your flight, so start using a good face lotion months before the wedding. Try Kiehls' Ultra Facial Cream for 24-hour hydration or, if you have oily skin, use a light moisturizer such as Olay Complete.
3: Electrical Adapter or Converter
Depending on where you're headed, you may need an electrical adapter or converter for any devices you'll need to use, such as curling irons or blow dryers. Many countries don't use the same outlets or electrical voltage. For example, American appliances aren't generally compatible with European outlets, and vice versa. It may seem like a trivial detail now, but you don't want to be stuck getting ready on your big day without the use of any of your electric styling tools!
To be safe, you may want to pack both an adapter and a converter. An adapter is a device that plugs into the outlet, changing the shape of the plug. A converter changes the amount of voltage that comes from the outlet. Some resorts do have American-style outlets in their rooms, so check with your travel agent or hotel to see if you need an adapter before buying one.
To pack the most punch in your beauty bag, look for products that pull double duty. Buy compacts that include all the essentials -- eye shadow, blush and eyeliner -- or get a mascara/lip gloss duo wand. You'll get all the products you need and will use less space in your bag, leaving you more room for other things. Try Becca Cosmetics Avalon Palette for eye shadow and blush all-in-one or Prrrowl Mascara Topcoat and Lip Gloss Duo to touch up your eyes and lips with one tool.
Can't imagine being without your mascara or lip gloss? Every girl has a cosmetic she can't live without, so be sure to pack it in your beauty bag before you leave the house. Remember: It's essential if it's important to you! If you have a favorite lipstick that you plan to wear on your big day, put it in your cosmetic bag first. Wearing grandma's perfume as you strut down the aisle? Make sure it goes into the bag before anything else. The last thing you want to forget is the one thing that's sure to make you feel beautiful and confident when you say "I do."
