PREPARATION:
- In large bowl combine ground beef, sausage, bread crumbs, cheese, egg, 1/3 cup pasta sauce, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, allspice and pepper. Mix until blended. Pat into ball. Place in 9-inch glass pie plate or shallow microwavable casserole 9 to 10 inches in diameter. Press into 7-inch circle.*
*Meat loaf may be frozen at this point. To prepare, thaw in refrigerator and proceed as directed.
- Microwave, lightly covered with paper towels, at HIGH 8 minutes. Pour off drippings. Meanwhile combine 2 tablespoons pasta sauce and remaining 1 tablespoon lemon juice; spread over top of meat loaf. Microwave 3 to 5 minutes more or until meat loaf registers 160°F in center. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
