Family Album Quilt Pattern

The Family Album Quilt Pattern makes a wonderful 33 x 54 quilt that is sure to become an instant family treasure. The quilt pattern repeats the Album Block Quilt Block. Download the two-page Family Album Quilt Pattern as a PDF to print out the pattern. You'll need to enlarge the quilt block to 125%.

To make the Family Album Quilt Pattern:

Make 12 blocks, and stitch them together in 4 rows of 3 blocks each. Add wide sashing and flying geese border (see the Quilt Borders page). Finished size is about 33 x 54 inches.

Cut:

A: Cut 4. B: Cut 8. C: Cut 4. D: Cut 4, and cut 1 from contrasting fabric.

Stitch:

Stitch B to A, then stitch B to other side of A. Make 4. Stitch C to BAB; make 4. Stitch D to contrast D, then stitch D to other side of contrast D. Stitch CBAB to D, then stitch CBAB to other side of D. Make 2. Stitch rows together to complete block.
