Mother's Day Bouquet
Spring is a great season for collecting flowers around the yard to present to mom on Mother's Day morning, but if that's not an option try this craft and whip her up a beautiful handmade bouquet.
Materials:- Sheets of colored tissue paper (alternative: large coffee filters and food coloring)
- Pipe cleaners
- Scissors
This easy craft can either be done with tissue paper or from scratch. For the latter, put a little food coloring in a spray bottle filled with water and carefully spray it on the coffee filters. Different combinations of colors can create a tie-dye effect as they merge together. Once dry, the coffee filters -- or sheets of tissue paper cut into rectangular sections -- should be piled on top of each other and folded up like an accordion.
Then one end of the pipe cleaner stem is tied around the center and each sheet carefully pulled from the accordion, so the paper unfolds to form fluffy petals.
