Andrássy, the family name of two Hungarian statesmen, father and son.

Count Gyula Andrássy (1823-1890) was a leading figure in the unsuccessful revolt of 1848-49 against Hungary's Austrian rulers. After helping to form the Dual Monarchy of Austria-Hungary in 1867, Andrássy served as the first constitutional premier of Hungary, 1867-71. As foreign minister of Austria-Hungary, 1871-79, he represented his government at the Congress of Berlin in 1878 and signed the Dual Alliance with Germany in 1879.

Count Gyula Andrássy (1860-1919), the son, served as Hungary's minister of the interior, 1906-10, and as foreign minister of Austria-Hungary in 1918. He joined an attempt to restore the Hungarian monarchy in 1921. Later he led the opposition to the government of Admiral Miklós Horthy and Count Stephen Bethlen.
